Southern Wood is a one man woodworking shop located in the Western Appalachian region, in the town of Summer Shade Kentucky. I make furniture using the old tried and true techniques developed over the centuries. My desire is to make long-lasting, wooden furniture/items out of locally harvested timbers.
The showroom is open on Friday and Saturday afternoons, but if I am in town, I will open the store immediately upon request. If you are interested in having something made to your specifications, stop in and lets talk, or give me a call.
I also offer consignment products from other local woodworkers.
